It's easy to wax lyrical about Tuscany. At the same time, however, the exuberant enthusiasm of many Tuscany fans is often criticized for seeing everything through rose-tinted glasses. Mark Twain also made a detour to Tuscany as part of his world tour between 1878 and 1879. Here he mainly described his impressions of the cities Florence and Pisa.
