The Venturina thermal baths are one of the most famous thermal baths in Tuscany. It is not far from the coast and is well signposted.
The thermal water of the thermal baths was already known to the Etruscans and Romans and is therefore also called “Aquae Populoniae”. The water is rich in sulfur, calcium and magnesium compounds and is suitable for therapeutic purposes (rheumatic diseases, diseases of the respiratory tract, vascular diseases, as well as digestive disorders and others). The water flows from the springs at a temperature of up to 45 degrees Celsius. The temperature in the baths is around 36 degrees.
Among other things, there is a four-star wellness hotel with its own thermal baths. In the vicinity there are publicly accessible thermal pools in the midst of nature.
