Montepulciano is a beautiful, agricultural place that has retained its historical character. It is known for its wine growing (Montepulciano grape variety, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano) and the production of Pecorino cheese
The thermal baths, or spa, are a typical rehabilitation center offering various treatments (saltwater therapy, massages, etc.) and fitness programs. Prices start at approximately €40 (one-day stay without additional treatments). Most guests enjoy their visit to the "Grotta Lunare" (Moon Cave), although it is certainly not a typical "adventure pool."
The sulfurous water comes from the underground of the thermal baths; unfortunately, we do not have any information about the temperature of the water, but it is likely to be "warm".
