The Therme di Casciana is not one of the “big” thermal baths. However, it is well developed and surrounded by numerous hotels of all price ranges, as well as restaurants and other localities. It is about 30 kilometers to Livorno, which lies to the west Volterra in the southeast it is about 35 kilometers. The village of Casciana Terme, like the surrounding villages, offers very original town centers with medieval flair.
The thermal baths are located in the center of Casciana Terme. Here you will find some facilities for wellness and rehabilitation. The approx. 36,5 degrees Celsius warm water contains sulphur, is "earthy" and is particularly suitable for rehabilitation measures and the treatment of respiratory and circulatory diseases, rheumatism and others. Drinking cures and fango treatments are also offered.
