The thermal water of Bagno Vignoni is rich in salts, calcium and iron carbonates, as well as sulfur, sodium and magnesium. The thermal baths in Bagno Vignoni were already used in Roman times and before that by the Etruscans. The water is known for its relaxing and soothing effects, including for skin diseases.

There are several hotels in the vicinity that offer wellness and thermal cures, as well as Finnish and Roman saunas. The water temperatures in the thermal pools are between 36 and 38 degrees Celsius. In addition, there is a publicly accessible "Terme Libere", which is surrounded by grottos and rock formations.

The beautiful Orcia Valley invites you to take part in other activities, such as hiking around the Monte Amiata .
