The decisive advantage of the thermal baths is the proximity of the small town of San Giuliano Terme to the airport Pisa (10km). This means you may be able to avoid the strenuous journey by car. The thermal bath itself offers a hotel, but suitable accommodation can also be found in the surrounding area. The whole ambience, especially the hotel resort, seems upscale. In some cases, older building elements were deliberately retained and integrated, which has a certain charm. Most of the reviews from guests are positive.
Treatments and times in the spa can be booked as desired. It is therefore not absolutely necessary to stay overnight on site. The spa offers, for example, a "night at the thermal baths" or a day pass including food.
The temperature of the thermal water is around 38 degrees Celsius, and a single entry to the thermal bath costs 20 euros. The range of treatments corresponds to the usual offers. The thermal baths offer a variety of treatments, such as water massages, fango, inhalations, physiotherapy, osteopathy, fitness, or a stay in the cave grotto (each with a surcharge).
