For the sake of completeness, the thermal baths of Massa (San Carlo Terme) are listed here. Since we have not yet visited the thermal baths, we are unfortunately unable to provide precise details. We are currently not sure whether the thermal baths are open at all and whether they can be used for bathing.

The thermal baths are located on the way from the coast to the Apuan Alps, near Massa in the direction of Castelnuovo in a rather secluded area (although it is only a few kilometers as the crow flies to Massa).

The thermal operation is said to only be open during the summer months (mid-May to mid-October). The healing water, which flows from the spring at a temperature of just under 13 degrees Celsius, is said to be suitable for treating a wide range of complaints of the respiratory tract, blood circulation and skin diseases. We assume that these are exclusively drinking cures.
